Fomo vs Axiom: same rate, one hidden difference

Both platforms are reported at roughly 0.5% per trade, so on the headline number there is nothing between them. The thing that actually decides which is cheaper for you is a number only one of them charges: Fomo's ~$0.95 minimum per trade.

The deciding number

Why the same 0.5% costs you different amounts

Fomo charges the greater of a percentage or a flat floor. Axiom, in everything we could read, charges the percentage only. That single design difference is the whole comparison.

$5,000$25.00$25.00$22.50Fomo with the code

Fomo figures assume the ~$0.95 minimum is not discounted by the referral code, which is the conservative reading. Axiom figures assume no minimum fee applies, per the sources we checked. Neither set includes network or token-platform fees.

The break-even is $190

0.5% of $190 is exactly $0.95. Below that, Fomo charges you its floor while Axiom keeps scaling down with your trade size — a $50 trade costs you nearly four times more on Fomo. Above $190, the code puts Fomo ahead by 0.05% of every trade, and that gap only widens in absolute terms as you size up.

Choose Axiom if

You trade small and often

Frequent $20–$150 entries are exactly where Fomo's minimum fee hurts most. At $50 a trade you would pay $0.95 on Fomo versus $0.25 on Axiom — a 1.9% effective rate against 0.5%.

You also prefer a desktop terminal with dense charting and order tooling over a mobile-first feed.

Choose Fomo if

You trade in meaningful size

Above $190 per trade the minimum stops binding and the referral discount takes over. At $1,000 a trade you save $0.50 every time versus Axiom, and gas is covered across supported chains.

You also want the social side — following traders, copying from a feed — as the main way you find trades rather than a bolt-on.

What we could not verify

Axiom's current fee schedule was taken from third-party comparisons dated March 2026, not from Axiom's own published pricing, and rates in this category change often. We also could not confirm Axiom's custody model, whether any cashback or volume tiers change its effective rate, or its fiat deposit routes. Check both platforms directly before committing size.
